WHO WE ARE.
Mattia, who grew up between Livigno and Bormio, became passionate about the world of gastronomy early on and after 15 years of experience in Italian and other kitchens, some of which were starred, he decided to carry on the family business.He is currently involved in coordinating the relationships between the various collaborators, organizing the work, substituting in all tasks for those who are missing and taking care of maintenance. Creative and ambitious, he has good manual skills and adapts to do anything for which he feels needed or inspired.
Mattia’s wife Silvia is originally from Grosio, a village in Valtellina. After legal studies in Milan, he devoted himself to the family accounting practice. He then worked for a few years in Livigno’s tourism promotion company, thanks to which he deepened his knowledge of the area. Today he is happy to have taken over the management of Camana Veglia where he can express his natural sensitivity to guests by taking care of reception, room management and administration. He loves nature, walks in the woods, swimming and the conviviality of the table.
